Italy or Twickenham ??. Give La Dolce Vita anytime

England have never hosted the Rugby World Cup (they were co-hosts in 1991 with Scotland,Ireland,Wales and France) yet they have already played 10 "home" games at Twickenham and if their stadium wasn't being refurbished in 2007 it would likely be 12 or more. Now they're getting another shot at 4 to 7 more. And because it's their turn it looks like they're not sharing with anyone!!
Of course all this is fair play to the I.R.B. Rah! Rah! the Old Boys Club and their crooked system that purports to represent all nations equally.

All unions are equal, but some unions are more equal than others..... (home unions + France + Sanzar unions) two votes!!!! give me a break!!! what's the difference between them and Italy and Argentina??

This 2 vote thing is antiqated and smacks greed and insecurity.
The reason the IRB felt forced to go for the biggest financial payback for the 2015 world cup is down to their stupidity in awarding the 2011 RWC to New Zealand on the back of a sob story, "Ooooh if the RWC gets any bigger we'll NEVER get to host it again!!!! boohoo!"
NZ! Its already out grown you! It should be going to Japan already, Their giangantic comercial clout would have ensured that italy had a shot in 2015.
Well done IRB for screwing that up so spectacularly. Can't say its a surprise though, you guys are pathetic!

I agree with slick...if Italy are good enough for the Six Nations, then they deserve as many votes as the other five, not to mention the World Cup bronze medalists who also only get one.

A depressing month indeed!
Surely there can't be anything more disgusting than not taking responsibility for your own actions - Dean Richards & the Bath 3 - time to grow up and admit your mistakes rather than blame the authorities for doing their jobs!
Quick question: why do the big 8 unions still get 2 votes for the world cups?
Surely, if we want to stop the "old boys club" IRB mentality and grow the game we need to give more voting rights to the other unions!
It is bizarre to think that Scotland has 2 votes where the game seems to be dying on its arse (&, from what you are saying, they seem to be using them to spite enemies from 200 years ago!) whilst Japan, Italy and USA get 1 vote each!
